Hi Everyone.

I'm having trouble getting the current Java EE documentation from the Oracle website [NOT the API documentation - supporting documentation as described below]. I've even tried creating a new account with Oracle to see if my original sun account had some problem.

I get to this page:http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/documentation/index.html via the main java page, then selecting "Java EE", then the documentation tab. I get a list of the available documentation, and try viewing for example "Java EE 6 Overview" and I get redirected to a summary page with a continue button (needing to log in the first time). Clicking the continue button always results in a missing page, or "The offer you are looking for is no longer available" message.

I was hoping someone could tell me how to get around this problem - it's been this way for at least a week. I've tried multiple machines, multiple developer accounts and have submitted a report via the report-broken-link form.

A:

Report the problem to Oracle. It is probably a fallout of the recent/ongoing reorganization and re-skinning of the Sun websites.

Have already done that (as mentioned).

Hi,

I found downloading the documentation is straight forward.

click on this link.

and then click on Download the Java EE 6 API Specifications hyper link. It shud take u to download page and then download entire API javadoc.

And BTW, no user registration is required !

Hope this helps

Thanks, but it's not the API that's the problem. It's all the supporting documentation as mentioned.
