Does anyone know how I can force CVS to not allow users to move tags within CVS? I've seen some documentation about the taginfo file in CVS, but I don't currently understand how to use it.
My current objective is to use a filter within the taginfo file to redirect all retags / move tag requests to a script that automatically exits with a non-zero value, which will indicate that the request cannot be completed.
I need to be able to do this in order to meet the requirements of auditing at my company.
