We are searching a framework which could update out Java/Swing desktop application (not the Java version) similar to Firefox or Thunderbird (from the user point of view). Java Web Start is no option for us for different reasons which I don't want to explain. I know, that OSGi implementations can do that, but for our purpose this would be an overkill.
