I'm trying to create a app for android that retrieves the test results after the test is performed using the MyGlucoseHealth device.

What should be my method of approach? How can I find out if there is a handshake method that is required in order to be able to talk to the device. What would the procedure be in order to start a connection with the device, so I can receive data?

Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you! Kishore

Hi, I am the CTO of Entra Health Systems and are the makers of the MyGlucoHealth device. There is a serial port communications protocol (SPP) available that will provide you with the needed information to establish a Bluetooth connection with the meter and to download results. There are also additional commands available too for doing things like setting the date and time on the meter, seting preferences, etc. Send me an email to [email protected] and I will be happy to send you the information.
