The blog entry (Safeguarding Windows 7 – Parental Controls) talks about assigning providers to user accounts for protecting and monitoring user accounts. Can someone please point me to an MSDN article on how to write such a provider? (I Googled and I guess I wasn't entering the correct search terms because I couldn find much.)
Hopefully there is a wizard that creates a generic barebone passthrough provider than can be added to and customized for various needs.
I'm hoping to spend a Saturday afternoon and write a very simple provider in C# that I can install on my daughter's Windows 7 PC that writes all URLs my she surfs to so that I can monitor her web activity... it's mainly for a learning activity for me but will also have some value to our family. (I realize there are products and other services that provide this functionality.)
