Is there any Hijri Date library in Ruby?

I haven't seen anything to convert to or from Hijri dates in Ruby. The best I can offer is a link to the Wikipedia article that contains the calculations necessary to perform the conversion. I find tons of sites detailing every aspect of the Gregorian calendar, but very little about the Hijri calendar. Perhaps most of the information about the Hijri calendar is in Arabic though.

I did find this written in Perl. You could call this as an external program or port it to Ruby.

Like AboutRuby, I don't know anything about calendars in Ruby, but apparently Islam is practiced in Japan, and lunar calendars are used in at least China.

Mormons don't use lunar calendars, do they?
