change color of progress bar in android

Hello

In my android application i am using progressbar horizontal.I am ok even if it is indeterminate horizontal.But how can i change the color of this progress bar.

I have gone through the below post. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2638161/how-to-change-android-indeterminate-progressbar-color.

But when i change the color as i require the progress is not shown.It remains static.

Could anyone please let me know how i can solve this issue?
