I am planning to graduate this coming May (2011) with a Bachelors in Computer and Information Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno and I would like to continue my education afterwards. Right now, I'm not entirely sure if I want to continue with engineering, I do enjoy and like software development very much, but I am thinking pursuing a Masters in Information Systems would broaden my horizons.
My question is, would it "make sense" to transition over to pursue a Masters in Information Systems or (not to sound smug, or anything negative), would it be a "step back"?
Just some more information, I'm not entirely sure what type of career I want to pursue post graduation (if I don't do grad school).
