I'm currently embarking on a new web-project. I've already decided what domain name I want to register.

However, I'm still a bit nervous about registering the domain name. There's someone else from a remote country with an international trademark which is very similar to my prospective domain name. His trademark consists of two words, the first word differs only one character, the second word is additional, describing his products. (e.g: Dell COMPUTERS)

Although our names don't differ a lot, our industries do. And other than search engines pointing to my website instead of his, because of the similarity of our names, I will in no way lure his customers away.

Should I still register the domain name? Or would I thereby violate the law?
