Wordpress 3.01 error Permalinks error

Question

If i enable Permalinks in wordpress, i get following error ,when i click on the post

403 Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /news/2010/10/test/ on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

but when permalinks is default it works fine.

I changed the folder permission to 755 and it works now. Thanks
