Unable to play all streaming videos

Question

Hi,

I am using the native Android class VideoView for playing streaming videos from URL.

I am unable to play some of the 3gp , mp4 format streaming videos.

Kindly inform if anyone has come across limitations of playing streaming videos of 3gp/mp4 format.

I had series of problems:

i>Able to hear the audio but unable to view the video for a video file being streamed from a specific Url.

Can the problem be due to parameters like frame rate & bit rate of the video?
