I understand having restrictive policies on the flow of code from a closed source environment to an open source one (like the ability to submit patches that you developed on work time for work reasons), but what can someone do about seemingly unreasonable restrictions on personal participation in open source? Say for instance requiring pre-approval or prohibiting contributions to projects used by the company?
