Im about to Graduate with a B.S. in Comp. Science here in the next month, im wondering for employers how important GPA is. As I leave ill be getting a letter of recommendation from a few higher up CS Professors I worked for. I did a good bit of helping design tracing algorithm's for a professor (as that was what she was working on) So that was my current job.

So a few questions.

-Should I put my GPA on my resume if it's below 3.5? Mines around a 2.9 (Crappy I know) But I A's and B's in ALL of my C.S. classes, sadly our "Major" GPA also includes Classes like English,Com 101, and such which I only do "ok" in. I know friends that had a lower GPA and got good paying jobs without listing their GPA.

-Secondly, I know they want people with experience/internship. I never really got the chance to do this because I had to pay for school on my own. However I think maybe my working with the CS Professor on Tracing and such will count for something? I did quite alot of coding for her? Do you think this will "count" towards anything when looking for a job. I mean....i get paid for it so technically it was for a job.

Thanks everyone!
