Type of object rendered(CUPS)

I am making a copy of my RIP for CUPS(pstoraster.I wanted to know the type of the object rendered using ghostscript.

Does anyone have this idea

I need to do the modification in pstoraster filter in the case of CMYK separation.So i need to get the type of object rendered in pstoraster filter
