Looking for a wifi java library that will enable me to connect to a mobile device from my laptop or desktop computer with bluetooth dongle

The device will be an Android device, but I would like it to be able to connect to any device. Thanks in advance.

Do you want to connect via wifi (802.11) or via Bluetooth? There are USB dongles for both, but there are not dongles that convert one to the other AFAIK.

My guess is that you are wanting to connect to the Android device via Bluetooth, and you expect to use a Bluetooth dongle on your laptop/computer because your laptop/computer doesn't have built-in bluetooth. Correct?

If so, I would suggest the BlueCove Java Library. Information on BlueCove, alternatives, and other Bluetooth/Java specific information is available here: http://www.javabluetooth.com/development_kits.html .
