Hi,
Having mostly been in academic setting and having had free access to all the needed softwares (and some piracy on my part), I have even ceased to understand/know that which commonly needed softwares are free/trial-based/paid-only. Rather than having to search for this information for each software individually, I would appreciate, if someone could please give me a quick insight into this. Also, if a software has some history of transition from one type to another, please let me know that as well. Softwares that come to my mind now are:
-- Mcaffee
-- I find adobe products specially confusing like adobe reader,adobe flash players,adobe photoshop
-- Norton antivirus
-- Roxio cd burner software
-- Internet Explorer
-- Visual basic
