Recently, I've started getting the following error whenever I try to deploy certain State Machine Workflows to my local SharePoint instance:

I've followed the link and it doesn't really help me understand why this is happening. The projects all target v3.5 and not v4. Anyone have any thoughts, as I've tried the Google and nothing has come up.
