I am wanting to develop an ecommerce website, and that will have a affiliate type program with it. But the main point of difference is that i will have 'agents' that will go to potential clients to talk about the product.
I then want the agents to provide the new client with an agent number. This number will be used when the client purchases anything from my website. They must enter the Agents "Code" which will then give the client (now a customer) a 5% discount, but also associate the sale with the agent, which the agent will receive commission from.
Example: I (the customer) purchase 2 dvd's for $10. I use the agent code (which was given to me by an agent pushing the product) when checking out, and i receive a 10% discount.
That sale will then be associated with the agent, and they will receive a 20% commission on the final sale (after the 5% has been taken out).
Note: the commission is only based on the total of the items sold (not including the shipping cost). Also, need an agent area which the agent can log into and view their commission, reports etc...
Is there a CMS out there that can provide me with such features? (it can be paid, or not paid)
i have looked at x-cart, which has an affiliate program, but does not seem to have what i asked above.
Any ideas people?
