Overlays for an Image Show

I'm pretty lame at coding html and css. I need some helpful suggestions on how to make my image show work and look better. Please take a look at the top of the page at:

and the messed up version here:

What I would really like to see is only the photo part of the images swap to the next, and the frame part of the image remain steady.

Can anyone help with this, or suggest another forum where I might find someone who can help?

Why do you not use Flash instead? You can make a beautiful banner when using Flash.
