NetBeans 6.5 JavaDoc Access

How can I increase the timeout window for the local NetBeans Javadoc server (http://127.0.0.1:8082/resource/jar)? After an extended period of time any navigation in an open Javadoc browser window results in an HTTP error. Only after I go back into NetBeans --> Help --> JavaDoc References and relaunch the documentation window does the error go away?
