does sy know a nice server based document viewer which runs in any kind of browser and supports a large range of formats (pdf, tif, office, ...)
don't bother with the ajax document viewer from Adeptol, I already know about it.

Snowbound Software has a nice product that does what you are looking for.
We have been using Adeptol Viewer for a year now and it stands out in terms of performance, speed, stability and UI. And also it is one of the most cost effective products available on market. I don't think you need to even look anywhere else.
Snowbound vs Adeptol Viewer is a good discussion. I have tested both and have deeply checked out features and statitics. I can tell you at higher level Adeptol Viewer is much faster and is multithreaded based on a Java based technology. They market it as multiple doc viewing viewer also and I think to some extent it works that way also and proves to point. It might lack some features in Annotations but again that depends on your use case.
