I have Access 2003, and Crystal Reports 10 (the one that comes with VS2008 Pro). How can I convert the access reports into Crystal Reports? It doesn't have to be perfect, just anything to lessen the load on me.

A:

I personally do not know of any "converter" and utility that provides such a functionality.

In fact I would really be curious to look into any of the answers anyone else may provide.

Since your access report would feed itself right into the database it is built in and your crystal report would be launched and fed from outside of that access database, the only way I know of would be to recreate that report.

-1 for your extremely unhelpful answer. If you don't know the answer, don't post and say you don't know the answer.

Well I just expressed that I was curious about whatever solution others could bring up. It is something that I could use. Should maybe have done it in a comment to your question.

@Dewm: As dirty as I feel to say this, Malfist is correct. This is not a discussion forum.

It may not have been the most helpful answer, but it's not exactly a good reason to be a dick to him.

God, if I could answer "I don't know" to every question I don't know the answer to and not expect to get downvotes, I would answer all day and night

@Rich B: Didn't I say in my comment that I should have written it as a comment?@belgariontheking: Do I spend my whole days doing this? No, this question picked my interest and I wanted to participate in it because it has value to me. What? Now we're supposed to show interest in something even if we don't know about it?

@Dewm Solo, then delete your answer and make it a comment, it'll save you reputation that way.

You'll earn the peer pressure badge if you delete your answer.
