I am working on an update to my iPhone app and I would like to add very quick video tutorials on how to do things in the app, e.g. how to back up & restore. What's the best way to do this? I could link to online tutorials but I don't want to kick any of my users who lack multitasking out of the app. I am thinking about including the video files within the app itself (as .mov or .mp4 files) but I am not sure if i can do this without making the app too big to download. What do you think is the best way to go about doing this?

How about recording an example tutorial video and seeing what size it comes out with. It's a much easier decision to make if you know what filesizes you're going to expect.

It looks like the tutorials will be in the realm of 3-6 MB. But I could theoretically reduce the video quality. I will probably have 4-5 tutorials max.

Ok, so the next decision is this. How important is it that users can download your app over the air?
