We run a SharePoint Portal server 2007 and we have some problems with searching for pdf's. In general everything goes fine with most users only some foreign users don't see pdf's in the result from 1 library on our server. Other libraries are shown in their search results (pdf and word) and word documents from that library which goes wrong are shown too in their search result. This library contains about 22.000 items and it works fine except for about 10 users. These users have Office 2007 installed, but they are running different Windows sytems: Windows XP, Vista and 7.
I can't find the reason for this, does somebody has an idea?
