To make it wiki editable if you forgot to check the option initially, keep editing the initial post. After maybe 5 edits it becomes wiki editable.

I've just started using qgit and it seem pretty nice. I installed it on my Mac via MacPorts, there's a Windows installer (I haven't tried it) and I'm sure it's easy to get for Linux as well.

Here are the instructions to install qgit from source on Leopard (MacPorts didn't seem to have it).

Hmmmm, have you done a 'port selfupdate' lately? I was able to get qgit 2.1 via "sudo port install qgit" on Leopard.

Another reasonable solution should be git-gui, which requires a Tcl/Tk framework to be installed.
