Speex for iphone

how to use "speex" for audio encoding/decoding in iphone? I am not getting the framework to add in project.

A:

Your question is pretty vague, but you may wish to read this thread, where they claim to have Speex working in realtime on the iPhone.

This blog entry: Compile Speex For iPhone by Clifton Craig should be helpful. Be warned though that I haven't tried this myself.

For anyone stumbling across this old thread: Yes Speex runs on the Phone. You have to copy in libogg and libspeex source folders to get it working.

I have tried several times, but have had no luck. Has anybody made an XCode project available anywhere?

Absolutely no luck with the instructions at: http://answerpot.com/showthread.php?5260-How+to+compile+speex+with+XCode+(for+iPhone+App)%3F

I get the same results as reported in the first post, but can't get the remedies in the second post to work. It seems that there are some underlying assumptions that don't fit the conditions for the first post. In particular, the search path setting does not fit the setup as described in the first post.

Any suggestions?
