I am currently having a trouble with registering a COM+ component. I tried to register it via the GUI (by dragging the DLL into the component folder).
The error code I am getting is 80110425. The prequel to this error was a message saying something like this: "The DLL could not be loaded. Check to make sure all required application runtime files and other dependent DLLs are available in the component DLL's directory or in the system path"
Now, the strange thing is this: - If I copy/paste the DLL into another folder, say FOLDER1, the registration went fine without problems. - But if unregister it and then try to register it from the original folder, say FOLDER2, it fails -- always - FOLDER2 is already part of the PATH system environment variable - Administrators and SYSTEM already have Full Control privilege; and Users have Read+Execute
If anyone has any ideas as what the problem might be, any help is greatly appreciated.
