We're a communications company, primarily in print and mail (e.g. bank statements, utility bills).
A lot of our customers want to switch to email delivery, either by pdfs as attachments or by click throughs to an online service portal.
Our print and mail software is pretty snazzy (think word mail merge on steriods), but we don't have anything in place for email, except for one off type marketing campaigns.
Was wondering if anyone had experience with an email broadcast platform, or an outsourced provider in Australia? I realise there's a shitload to consider when sending mass email (e.g. spam compliance, SPF, bounceback handling, etc).
Requirements :
- Be able to define a template, preferably WYSIWYG
- Mark variable data fields (e.g. Name, Balance)
- "Mail merge" data into the template, send emails
- handle bouncebacks well (i.e. reporting)
- Some kind of automation (for recurring jobs)
- Add attachments
