First congrats on joining the collective!
If you're going to become a PMP, the first thing you need to do is join PMI and your local PMI chapter. This will save you money on the exam and classes taught at your local chapter. THe next thing you need to do is gather up all of the materials you need to register for the test. This process will take you some 40 hours. You will also need to sit for about 35 hours of training before you can take the exam.
I recommend the crosswinds simulation software after you've taken the class. All in, I dropped well over $1K getting this certification.
Once certified, you need to maintain that certification through furhter study, so if you're interested in both becoming a SCRUM Master and a PMP, do the PMP first. You can get the SCRUM later and that training will count towards your Professional Development Units (PDU's ) and you'll need to get 60 PDU's every 3 years.
