Any good recommendation? I have something I intend to charge higher and make sure the reliability. I think I can eat something at about 100/mo.

100 what? USD?

Hosting companies' reputations fluctuate with the wind (bad month, earthquake took out the main data-center, new manager, etc) so I recommend checking with webhostingtalk.com. The message boards there are populated by resellers, sysadmins and site owners and you can usually find a deal there not posted on some of the host's main sites.

The problem is getting such deal justified is difficult too, to know if the company is really doing the job right, thats why I am asking here to see if there are existing users.

That message board is full of reviews by people who know what they are talking about - the only thing they discuss is the quality of hosting companies.

The problem is seems there are very much different interpretations on quality of hosting. I can see a lot of user just host there, page loads, then they are not going to visit them for a long time. By quality hosting I mean a reasonable traffic website still keeps running in stable shape.

It would probably help to know a bit more about your specific requirements. For simple stuff, I've had great luck with WebHost4Life and it is tough to beat their pricing.

Ive been with www.aspnix.com for 2 years. They are really great for developers because they install the latest frameworks the second they come out. If youre nice they will also go out of their way to install extra things like the MVC framework!

For VPS hosting I use HostMySite.com and have been very impressed, for Shared hosting I Use 3Essentials, and for cloud computing I'm using Mosso. As others mentioned it really depends on what you need it for and the individual services.

Mitchel Sellers
Hows your experience with Mosso? I checked http://status.mosso.com and seems the log is not a glory to read.

Well so far, I'm quite impressed, if you want some detailed info, drop me an e-mail [email protected]
