Hello I'm a programmer that has just recently started programming applications for the iPhone.

I want to create a game where the main character goes around a series of room and each of this contains a different minigames.

The game is going to be 2D similar to the likes of "Final Fantasy Advance Tactics", Pokemon or Zenonia(for the iPhone)...

The question is: Which graphic library is more easy to use, free and suited for the use of Sprites and TiledMaps that I'm very like to use in my game?

+1  A:

OpenGL ES?

TTT
+3  A:

cocos2D?

cocos2D is the easiest 2d game engine I've found for the iphone. But it's a tad tricky to get the hang of, but once you do it's super easy
