Verify/Check to see if a Configuration Profile has been installed on iPhone

Does anyone know if there's an API to check to see if a particular Configuration Profile has been installed on a iPhone OS device?

I've got the same problem too. I've been looking all over for the same thing. Either a BOOL or anything that would let me know that the profile was successfully installed. But I guess, it is closer to impossible. Because, as far as i know, the app runs inside a sand box and has no access to the iphone's file system. I may be wrong, i'm just also a noob iphone developer.
