FIPS compliance issue on third-party dll

Currently been using ComponentOne report generator on a web app with no issues.
Recently had to turn on FIPS compliance on the server.
The app now fails at the call made to ComponentOne method.

Is it correct to think that the C1 dll was built on a machine that had FIPS turned off?

Any workarounds aside from turning off FIPS on the server?

What is the method that ComponentOne is calling that causes this issue? If you can post your Stack Trace it would help pinpoint the issue and if it can be avoided.

Don't have their source code, but the usual culprit with FIPS is using a non-compliant algorithm, like Rjandel.

Interesting, I assume this FIPS compliance is a project requirement you have? I would assume some government projects require this compliance in contract too. If it is not a requirement, what is your reason for complying with it? Sorry for all the questions, but I am curious about this development practice.
