Startups often prefer to leverage 3rd party web services for features that are not central to the service they are providing. I would like to assemble a categorized list of these services and am hoping the SO community can help. For instance:
- Get Satisfaction
- User Voice
- MailChimp
- Campaign Monitor
- GitHub
- Codaset
It would be nice to categorize the services, for instance:
- Community Based Support and Feedback
- Email Marketing
- Source Control/Hosting
- Customer Service/Issue Tracking
- Server Monitoring/Performance profiling
Please share any ideas for other categories as well. And it would be nice to have some simple details about a service, such as:
- Are you using it, planning to use it, used it but canceled, won't use it
- Any pros/cons to the service
- Competitors or alternatives to the service
- List of well known startups that use the service
