We have an application that allows a user to design a form and configure font properties, etc. The fonts presented are from their PC list of available fonts. This application is intended to deploy to a mobile device which will likely not have that font resident. My question involves any licensing issue that arises if we distribute the selected PC font to the mobile device. I imagine that will vary per licensing terms for any 3rd party font but what about Window system fonts? Is there a reasonable way to detect which is which and is any distribution considered ok?
