I am using CGEventPost() to post mouse events on my Leopard and Snow Leopard. I am doing this from a remote application, just live VNC viewer. Every thing works fine except the case when I try to launch any application after searching it in Spotlight. Remotely when I try to Launch any application after searching it in spotlight, it works fine up to the searching of application, however when I try to launch it after clicking the application Icon nothing happens. It is ignoring my mouse click on Spotlight search result list. I am sure CGPostEvent() is not deprecated in Leopard and Snow Leopard, So wondering what could be the reason behind it not working on spotlight search result list? Anybody else faced such problem ? or it it a undocumented limitation of CGEventPost?
