Hi folks,
assume having a mail server (mail.com) and an additional webserver (web.com) using cPanel as an administration interface. The mail server is configured in a way that all mails from any address[at]mail.com may only be sent from within the servers network.
Now at web.com I have created a simple mailing list by adding a few mail forwarders so all mails to info[at]web.com will be forwarded to these addresses which includes also the address special[at]mail.com.
If the user behind special[at]mail.com sends an email to info[at]web.com his mail will also be forwarded to himself because of the mail forwarders set.
The mail server however won't let it through since the mail is still coming from something [at]mail.com but not from inside the network.
cPanel is always using the original sender when forwarding a mail. Is there an option to change that behaviour?
