Hello,

I went through the archives here and the Wikipedia page on Project management software, but didn't find information on this type of application to manage projects:

  • Windows, natively-compiled (no Java, preferably Windows instead of cross-platform) desktop based (don't like to use a browser for this)
  • can scale from one to a few people (ie. no need for a multi-user solution right now, but might need to share data with other users)
  • either free or affordable, ie. not an Enterprise solution
  • projects consist in tasks, which can be divided into sub-tasks ad infinitum, à la MS Project or ToDoList. The UI must provide a hierarchical, tree-like structure
  • the application also offers a Calendar/Schedule view: If any item has a start and/or due date, it should be displayed in the Calendar, so it's easy to see what needs to be done on any given day, whether it's appointments/meetings or just tasks that are scheduled for that day
  • the Calendar must sync with BlackBerry, ideally without any need for Outlook (or it should automagically sync with Outlook, so I just need to sync once: EssentialPIM requires two syncs: With Outlook, and then from Outlook to BBerry)

At this point, the apps I know either don't provide a Calendar at all, or do but they can't sync with smartphones, which forces me to copy/paste scheduled items into Outlook so they are synced with my BlackBerry :-/

Thank you for any help.
