Not sure if this question belongs on SO. Anyway, please let me try to clarify the issue.
I'm currently planning a social program. It's basically a chat server with the major additional ability to play games. I'd like to create categories of features that are offered to users. My question is, are there any useful standard feature categories? Does not have to be specific to my case, I'm interested in the general case as well. Just to give you an idea of what I'm thinking:
- functional
- e.g. play games
- social
- e.g. chatting
- operational
- e.g. 24/7 service availability
