notepad++ plugin, C++ API

i am developing a notepad ++ plugin, am using a propertysheet with tabs as my dialog

so far i have managed to show the dialog however when i move the dialog notepad freezes i.e. it stops responding, even the plugin stops responding

NB: you have to have notepad++ running so as to test
