I'm looking for a blogging service (like blogspot.com) where I can quickly start to get thing going, and was wondering which was suited to write technical posts, i.e. one that has a good common way to embed source snippets, perhaps even with syntax highlighting for some languages ?

Edit: Wordpress seems to be quite good (but I'm still looking at other services, as wordpress can not be customized in its designs in the free version), but here's some syntax-hightlighting related hint I have:

Not all the basic templates work with the wordpress syntax hightlighting, so write a first post with some source code, then test it with themes, before you start to invest time in a wordpress blog.

Wordpress has good support for posting code snippets.

OK, thank you, I'll have a look at it - quite obvious to use Wordpress, but I saw a lot of awful looking source on blogspot blogs and wondered why that wasn't really supported.
