create jigsaw puzzle piece from an existing image on iPhone

How would one go about creating jigsaw puzzle pieces from an image on the fly. I want the application to get the images from the library and then create puzzle pieces around that.

Any ideas? open source libs?

There was a sample at apple's site namesd "Color slider puzzle", but they removed it .I m also searching for the jigsaw puzzle, but didnt get any helped yet....

I'll let u knw if i get something. do far, did u get any help in creating jigsaw??
