Best netbook for light development
First, I realize this is a duplicate from a question 11 months ago, but I'd like some more recent results.
I'm looking for a $300 - $400 netbook I can put Ubuntu Netbook Remix on and use for light to moderate development. I'm just a hobbyist, so I won't be into anything too big, but using a photo editor such as the Gimp would be nice. I will also use it to watch shows on Hulu.
I mainly work with PHP/mySQL, C, and Java. Battery life is an important factor for me, as is build quality keyboard size. I'm fine with anything larger than 9 inch usually. I find I can type a bit easier on the chiclet keyboards.
Finally, I'd like to stay away from HP. I've never had luck with them.
