Intellisense Error Log in Visual Studio 2005?

Intellisense compiles your code in the background in Visual Studio 2005, so that you can enjoy all of it's benefits.

However, alot of the time in Visual Studio 2005, it stops working.

Is there any sort of error message panel that will display when Intellisense can't compile the code for some reason (just so that I can be aware that it gave up?)
