Yes, I know this question has been asked before, but they were answered two years ago (2008). Who's the current (2010) leader? Has Eclipse or Netbeans caught up to Visual Studio since then, or is Microsoft still the hated champion?

For my money Visual Studio. The Visual C++ Team Blog did a great post on some of the advantages of using VS2010 for C++ development.

The current best IDE for C++ (if you're being entirely honest) hasn't changed in over a decade now. Though the compiler it included was inferior by current standards, the Visual Studio 6 IDE was better for C++ than anything that anybody has done since.
