iPhone SDK: Code signing issue, object file format invalid or unsuitable

Question

I am having trouble getting my app on a test device.

This is the message I am receiving.

/Users/chance/iCreditCard-AuthorizeNet/build/Distribution-iphoneos/iCreditCardAuthorizeNet.app: object file format invalid or unsuitable Command /usr/bin/codesign failed with exit code 1

I am not sure what is going on?

I am having the same problem. I was able to build and sign fine in leo but have since upgraded to SL. I never tried to do a build after upgrading to SL until now.

removed xcode (sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all)
I have tried deleting all of my xcode prefs (not sure the exact procedure ) still not working. I have installed xcode 3.2.3.
