In the latest version of VirtualBox with a Windows 7 64-bit host and a Windows 7 64-bit guest, is it possible to set the guest as a proxy for the host? Specifically, I want to initiate a VPN connection over HTTPS with the guest--which is a copy of a machine on an NT domain--and use that connection from the host (which is not part of the NT domain. Adding the host to the domain is not an option, unfortunately.

Bridged Networking seems to fit the bill, but I'm not certain.

I am actually running a set up exactly opposite yours since my host is part of the domain, but my virtual machine is not, however my solution might work for you.

I actually have the cisco VPN software installed on both machines and create a VPN connection from either machine (or both if I need it).

Are you able to VPN directly from your non-domain machine?

I am not able to VPN from the non-domain machine. The VPN connection checks to ensure the connecting system:1. Is part of the NT domain2. Has Windows Firewall running3. Has certain antivirus software running and up-to-dateBasically, I have a machine which is on the domain. Rather than carry 2 laptops around, though, I plan to convert the domain machine to a VHD and boot it via VirtualBox.
