Hi all,

I'm using Windows XPSP3's dialer.exe app to log all incoming and outgoing phone calls. The default location for the dialer.exe is: %PROGRAM_FILES%\windows nt\dialer.exe. Using this application's default Log Viewer (a txt file), I see records of both incoming and outgoing calls, but it only registers the phone number for the outgoing calls. I should mention that when I receive a phone call, I do get a popup that shows the incoming number, so its clear that dialer.exe is getting this info.

How can I get the incoming number to be used in the logs for the incoming calls ? -- I found a Registry key that points me to a possible solution, but so far I couldn't find any further info from MS or Google on how to customize it:

Dialer : %PROGRAM FILES%\Windows NT\dialer.exe

Log File : \Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\App Data\Microsoft\Dialer\user_call_log.txt

possible log customize at: Logging : HKCU->Software->Microsoft->Dialer->Logging

Any pointers about customizing the log to get the incoming number?

Thanks in advance,
