I want a simple CRM in wordpress, any suggestions as how to do? which plugins to use??

From my experience (major website - about 1mm views per month), WP is not suitable for a CRM. Drupal comes closer and has many features that make it more CRM-friendly.

Of course: YMMV.

If you want to stick with WP, then you probably need to define in more detail what you want to do. "I want a CRM" is too vague; try mapping out how people (authors) would use the site, and then it will become clear what functionality you're missing.

At that point you can look for plugins that provide the needed functionality or write your own.

It doesn't matter what platform you are using (Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla). They are just page views. WP is the perfect platform for simple websites. If you want advanced user interaction, then WP may not be the right paltform. But then again, there is always a plugin :)
