I'm looking for benchmark data that compare the performance results between RMI call Vs. Web services call. The problem is that the customer give us target to meet less than 2sec response time for 3Mb XML size, using only text format xml. I'm trying to convince him that move to RMI interface as in this xml file size, no way that we will meet less than 2 sec KPIs, not because i'm doing something wrong but due to web service limitation in such big file. Please help me with good evidence that support my claims (I'm ok that you will give me evidance that prove that i'm wrong).
